Who is a family law lawyer, and how do you find one?

Family law lawyers focus their practices on family law topics.  These topics include divorce, child custody, child support, paternty, adoption, guardianship, and grandparent visitation rights.

Some family law lawyers also consider wills, trusts, and probates as family law, because these practice areas are intimately involve family relationships.

You find a family law lawyer by checking their website, their blog and/or their other advertisements.  Family law attorneys list family law topics at the top of their practice areas, not as an afterthought to personal injury and DUI.

Since Wyoming does not certify lawyers in any specialty, you must look at other things to find out if a particular attorney is a family law lawyer.

Does the lawyer list family law as a specialty, or a focus, of their practice? (either in print advertizing or on the attorney's website, online presence and/or their social media acounts?
